🏦 Link Your Bank Account - Micro Deposit | Altruist

Follow the same linking instructions by entering your routing and account number (see below) and a micro deposit of $00.01 will be made into your bank account by Altruist.

There will be a 3-digit transaction code associated with the deposit that can be located by viewing your most recent account activity online, calling and requesting this from your bank if you do not bank online, or on a statement. 

- the following is the procedure to confirm these w/ your Altruist account. 

1. Log in to your Altruist account and navigate to where you see your initials in the upper right corner. 
- Click your Initials.

2. A small menu will open and slide to the left.
- Click the settings button.

3. You will be dropped onto a new page, from here select "accounts".

4. Once the "accounts" section is opened, you'll see your prior linked bank account with the option to "verify". Select this blue "verify" button. 

5. Plaid will now launch in the center of your screen, this is where you will enter the 3-digit transaction code associated with the deposit made by Altruist.
- Click continue once finalized.

7. If you entered the correct 3-digit code correctly, you should see a success message denoting that the bank was linked appropriately. 
- Select "Continue"

You have successfully linked your bank account.
